Assault Weapons

Assault Weapons

At this time there is no federal law that restricts assault weapons. However, many states, cities and localities have enacted laws which ban or otherwise restrict assault weapons or certain features on firearms that enhance their appearance or capability. Possessing, selling, or manufacturing semi-automatic firearms that contain these features can result in criminal prosecution. The National Center for Firearms Removal can assist by accepting assault weapons for removal. Learn more here
