Valuation Guide for Tax Deductions
The U.S. Internal Revenue Service requires donors to self value their items. To help guide you, we have have compiled a list providing price ranges of commonly found firearms. These are only estimated values and assume the following items are in good condition, and remember: prices are only estimated values for deduction purposes, these are not binding appraisals and we DO NOT buy firearms.
Plastic Framed Handguns (such as Glock, Springfield, Ruger): $150 each
Steel Framed Handguns (such as Beretta, Colt, Smith & Wesson): $200 each
Assault Rifles (such as AR15s, AK47s, UZIs): $350
Hunting Rifles (such as Remington, Marlin, Winchester): $200
Shotguns (such as Benelli, Mossberg, Remington): $200 each
Clips / Magazines: $10 each
